How Often Do I Use Opalescence Teeth Whitening

Opalescence is the Canadian teeth whitening system. It uses professional-strength peroxide to remove deep stains and give you a whiter, brighter smile. Opalescence is a popular teeth whitening solution due to it’s effectiveness and because it can be used safely by almost anyone.

Over the last few months there’s been a lot of talk about teeth whitening products. It’s something that has grown in popularity and it is one of the most requested procedures in dentistry. There’s plenty of stuff online telling you what to look out for when having teeth whitened, but not much on using them as a home procedure – so I thought I’d give you some tips with my personal experience of using Opalescence Teeth Whitening at home.

How Often Do I Use Opalescence Teeth Whitening

The Opalescence Teeth Whitening System is designed to be used 2-4 times per year, or as often as needed. While this product can be used more frequently, it is not necessary to do so.

The formula of Opalescence is designed to not only whiten teeth, but also to strengthen and protect them. Over time, the formula will build up a layer of protection on your teeth that helps prevent food and beverages from staining your teeth.

There are many factors that determine how long the results of Opalescence will last: age, diet, frequency of use and other oral hygiene habits all play a role in how long your smile will stay radiantly white after using this product.

Opalescence is a professional-strength teeth whitening system that can deliver results at home. It’s effective and safe, and it’s easy to use.

You can use Opalescence at home as often as you want. In fact, we recommend using it at least once a week for a month after your initial treatment to maintain the results. The more often you use it, the better your results will be.

How do I use Opalescence?

Opalescence is simple to use:

Clean your teeth thoroughly with a toothpaste and water (or mouthwash) – don’t brush or floss prior to application as this may reduce the effectiveness of the product.

Open the container and pour about 1/4 teaspoon of gel onto a sterile applicator tip. Apply directly to each tooth surface by placing tip into contact with the tooth surface for 10 seconds then wipe off excess gel with a tissue or gauze pad. You can also apply directly onto regular toothbrush head if desired.

Repeat steps 2 & 3 above until all surfaces have been treated once (about 7 applications total). Repeat these steps every other day until you have achieved desired whiteness level (usually takes 6-8

Opalescence 20 How Long To See Results

I am a licensed esthetician and have been using Opalescence for about 10 years. I started with the 10% and when it was discontinued, I went to the 20%. I use it every 3-4 months and it makes my teeth look whiter than they were before. It’s not a miracle treatment and it doesn’t make your teeth sparkle like they are covered with diamonds. The Opalescence is most effective on people who drink coffee, tea or red wine on a regular basis or smoke cigarettes (tobacco). It also has to be used as directed, which is twice a day for 30 seconds. It dries quickly and doesn’t stain clothing or pillows if you don’t rinse thoroughly after use. It doesn’t hurt at all when you use it because there are no needles involved; it simply vibrates at high speed to polish your teeth in a matter of minutes. You can get used to the vibration after the first few days of use.

I have recommended this product to several friends who have also found success with it, but as with all dental treatments, results vary from person to person based on lifestyle habits that affect tooth enamel and hygiene habits (brushing/flossing).

The Opalescence 20 laser is a relatively new device that has been approved by the FDA for the treatment of gingivitis and periodontitis. It is a great option for patients who are looking for an alternative to traditional periodontal surgery.

The results from the Opalescence 20 laser procedure are immediate. Your gums will be painless, bright and healthy looking right away!

Most people are able to eat soft foods immediately after the procedure, but you should avoid hard foods or those that require chewing until the next day. Some patients may have some mild discomfort or bleeding after the procedure, but this should subside quickly.

Opalescence Go Teeth Whitening

I was on OPALESCENCE 20 for about 6 months. I had some good results, but not as much as I would have liked. I had more breakouts and dark spots on my face. My teeth looked whiter, but they were sensitive after a couple of weeks. The most positive result was that my gums became healthier and did not bleed like they used to do.

I would recommend anyone who is considering using OPALESCENCE 20 to discuss the pros and cons with their dentist first so that you can make an informed decision about whether or not it is right for you.

If you are having any problems with your teeth or gums that could be fixed with professional treatment, then it’s probably worth giving it a try. Otherwise, you may want to explore other options!

Opalescence Go is the same formula as Opalescence, but in the convenient pen applicator. The pen allows for precise application and delivers more consistent results than a brush or tray.

How does it work?

Opalescence Go is a prescription tooth-whitening gel that’s applied by a dental professional to remove surface stains. It contains hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide which help break down stains found on your teeth. These are then removed from your mouth when you rinse and spit.

Is it safe?

Yes, Opalescence Go is safe to use as long as you follow all instructions from your dentist carefully. You should not use this product if you have any of the following medical conditions:

  • Bleeding Disorders (e.g., hemophilia)
  • Heart Disease (e.g., congestive heart failure)
  • Kidney Disease (e.g., renal failure)
