There is no way to avoid these types of scars after a tummy tuck unless you have a lower body lift or thigh lift performed at the same time as your tummy tuck (which I don’t recommend).
It is important for you not to gain too much weight for at least six months after surgery because extra weight will stretch out any new scars and make them worse than they need to be at this stage.

My doctor said that he would do another liposuction under my arms if needed but I think he will not agree to do another tummy tuck as my scar is so small already.
